As a UC Specialist you are the expert in the field of Collaboration (online). Your role as a UC Specialist will be in supporting our customer teams (consisting of a servicedesk team and an administration team) to most efficiently support our client(s) and to undertake and/or supervise larger scale changes and projects. You know the products inside out.
The UC team is on-call to maintain a number of client environments, both during and outside of office hours. This means that you as a (UC) Skype for Business Specialist will be expected to participate in a standby shift. The Unified Communications specialist team supports customer teams’ queries (such as: adding additional SIP domains, setting up emergency routing and DMARC and DKIM implementation). Besides that, the service is built on a cloud-first premise. In addition, the team is responsible for building new environments and migrations to the cloud. Examples are migrations from on-premise Skype for Business to Skype for Business online or transitioning from Avaya on-premise to Microsoft Teams. They work Agile Scrum and DevOps.
